The goal of St. Mark Youth Ministry is to bring the youth into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. One of the ways we do this is through our Life Teen Mass at 4pm on Sundays. During this mass we invite all of the high schoolers to sit together with us at the front.
In additon we offer weekly faith formation during the school year. Throughout the year we also offer socials, service projects, reteterats, and much more!
Faith Formation Opportunites:
Lifeteen (HS) meet Sundays during the school year after the 4pm mass and follow a Gather-Proclaim-Break-Send model which begins with a large group for fellowship and catechesis before breaking into small groups and concluding with reflection and prayer.The themes for the 2023-2024 Fall and Spring semester:
The Profession of Faith (Fall) & The Sacraments (Spring)
Bob & Wow (HS) is open to those unable to attend Sundays as well as those who attend Sunday and desire more. Bob & Wow take place in a more informal environment that provide an open space for the youth to bring topics that they are interested and pertain to the faith, or challenges/questions they may be facing. This can range from apologetics to a faith sharing but usually are a mix of both. -
