Volunteers are needed to spend one hour per week before the Blessed Sacrament in meditation, prayer, and adoration. It is an excellent opportunity to experience the grace of God throughout the parish. Adoration is available on Mondays, Tuesdays from 8:00AM-8:00PM, Wednesdays from 8:00AM - 8:30PM, Fridays 8:00am-11:30am.
Discalced Carmelite Seculars are practicing members of the Catholic Church, who under the protection of our Lady of Mount Carmel and inspired by St. Teresa of Jesus and St. John of the Cross, make the commitment to seek the face of God for the sake of the Church and the world. We meet the Second Saturday of each month from 1pm to 4pm, with our mission of teaching about Carmelites from 2:30 - 3:30pm.
We come together for prayer, praise, worship and openness to the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We meet Monday 7:00-8:30 pm at St. Mark Catholic Church. We are also available for group prayer after the prayer meeting. Everyone is welcomed. We will also host the Life in the Spirit Seminar in the near future, to be announced in the church bulletin.
Do you knit or crochet or wish to learn how? Are you looking for a prayerful ministry to join? Prayer Shawl members prayerfully knit and chrochet shawls for those who are sick, dying, or have lost a loved one. Shawls are also given for celebrations of new mothers, newlyweds, new Catholics, and evryone in between. No need is too great or too small to receive a shawl. Yarn and patterns are provided. The ministry regularly meets on the last Monday of the month from 7-8:30PM.
Cenacles are part of the Marian Movement of Priests, and international organization (not an order of priest) formed by an Italian priest at the direction of Our Blessed Mother in the mid70's and recognized by the Holy Father. We meet regularly to spiritually support our priests, praying the Rosary and other Marian devotions. Meetings are every Monday at 11:30 a.m. for about an hour, in the St. Mark Religious Education Building. You are invited to join us to support our priests as Mary requests and to learn more about her love for our priests and her children.
Individuals, single or married, model their lives after the values of the Marianist Spirituality. Following the Marianist tradition of dedication and devotion to Jesus through Mary, they meet for prayer, faith-sharing and Christian outreach, bringing the spirit of Mary to those they encounter on the first Thursday of each month in RE Room 201, from 1: 30 - 3:30pm.
