Safe Environment Adult
All Adult volunteers must attend Safe Environment training every 2 years.- If the ministry that you serve requires money handling, you must fill out a form for a credit check.
- If the ministry that you serve requires driving, you must fill out a form for Authorization for driving.
If this is your first time volunteering you must fill out a Volunteer Ministry Application, Code of Conduct, and Authorization Release form (see forms above)
All new volunteers must take the "Protecting God's Children Sessions" (PGC).
If you have already taken the PGC and renewing your certificate you must take the "Keeping the Promise Alive" (KPA)course.

SAFE ENVIRONMENT
REQUIREMENTS
FOR ALL VOLUNTEERSYouth 10 -13 yrs and in 7th Grade
Must be trained annually in the "Empowering God's Children" For Youth program provided through Catholic schools or Religious Education programs and have Pre-Teen Leader Training administered by a parent. Please contact a safe environment coordinator for the pre-teen take-home packet.
Youth 14 yrs and in 8th Grade or above to Age 17
Must be trained annually in the "Empowering God's Children" For Youth program provided through Catholic schools or Religious Education programs, AND
must attend the Teen Leader Ministry training.

If you are a new volunteer at St. Mark, the classes available are:Saturday, July 27th
Tuesday, August 6th9:00 am to Noon
10:00 am to 1:00 pmIf you have volunteered through St. Mark or completed the initial class through Virtus,
you may be eligible to take the 1 ½ hour renewal course:Friday, August 2nd
10:00 am to 11:30 am
