St. Mark joins Interfaith Ministries, and other groups in helping underprivileged children in the Denton ISD get the tools they need to begin a successful school year. Each student is provided with two new sets of clothing, a pair of shoes and school supplies. St. Mark's ministry is to provide two new sets of clothing. To help, sponsors may select names from paper apples that decorate a tree each year from late July to early August.

BREAD OF LIFE
The Roger Utz Bread of Life Ministry serves the hungry in our midst by picking up bread, pastries and other items from local grocery stores every day of the week, and distributing the items to multiple Denton locations including the Soup Kitchen, Asbury Methodist Food Bank, Salvation Army, the Shepherd's Hands, Friends of the Family, and Denton Community Food Center. Individuals or families may participate in this ministry by joining a route and running the pickup/delivery route once monthly. Volunteering an hour a month to this important ministry leads to great rewards for our community. Get your family involved, teach your children the meaning of service and share in the joy of giving back!
